Overview

Our client is an award winning global integrator.  They are in need of a CLEARED Space Manager / Planner to serve as the single point of contact for all departmental space management planning matters in the Pentagon, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Joint Base Andrews, and leased space in the NCR.  Some remote opportunities may be available, but candidates must be local to Washington, D.C., as some onsite presence is needed at The Pentagon, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling or Joint Base Andrews.

 

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens, with an active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Facility Space and Construction Management Branch
  • Provide real property space acquisition, allocation and management, project management, supply/furniture procurement, and gift support to the Department of the Air Force, and other Air Force activities in the Pentagon and throughout the National Capital Region.
  • Initiate, plan, and coordinate real property programs.
  • Conduct interviews and on-site inspections and develop approved space validation consistent with the established Rules of Engagement (ROE)
  • Develop policies, procedures and instructions for facility space allocation and management based on higher level instruction and best practices
  • Procure, manage, allocate and control the utilization of office, storage, and special use space for
  • Prepare and submit requests for new space, adjustments to existing space and provide these offices with prescribed space reports. Manage the preparation and submission of all necessary documentations for all requests for space to OSD.
  • Represent the Operations Directorate with a variety of installation and functional area organizations
  • Meet with key customer and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, and resolve problems that arise

Qualifications

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD software
  • Interior Design experience
  • Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens, with an active Secret Clearance
