Overview

Our client is an award winning global integrator working on new office space standards at The Pentagon, and have contract openings for two (2) Furniture Specialists. In this role, you will evaluate the existing furniture and office standards and then propose recommendations and amendments for what is needed.

 

Onsite presence at The Pentagon in Arlington, VA is required 4 – 5 days per week. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens, with an active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis and technical review of SAF/AA’s existing standards and provide proposed amendments and recommendations.
  • Develop a standard office layout to include modifications and additions to the current modular furniture configurations, incorporating new standards that produce flexible options
  • Discuss and review opportunities to integrate the existing standard modular furniture components into the revised standards options while avoiding the procurement of duplicate requirements.
  • Use Sortly asset management database to track excess furnishings and materials for supporting systems furnishings.
  • Investigate and determine requirements, conduct market research, and estimate cost for furniture, interior alterations, and interior design projects.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to customers on furniture, and space planning/design.

Qualifications

  • AutoCAD and Revit experience
  • Interior Design experience
  • Experience with space planning
  • Proficiency with Sortly inventory software
  • Familiarity with furniture and its capability and standards
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens, with an active Secret Clearance
