Overview

Our client is a leading provider of live event production services for corporate, association, and non-profit clients.  They have a direct hire opening for a dynamic and experienced Event Sales and Service Account Manager to drive sales and business development initiatives. Based in Washington, DC, this role requires a proven track record in client portfolio expansion and sales exceeding $500,000 annually.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagement as the primary liaison, collaborating closely with your team throughout the proposal, budgeting, and execution phases.
  • Utilize entrepreneurial acumen to identify and cultivate relationships with prospective clients in the live event production sector.
  • Implement strategic outreach strategies including networking, cold calling, and leveraging marketing leads to expand the sales portfolio.
  • Achieve ambitious sales targets to foster year-on-year revenue growth.
  • Partner with the producers to craft compelling responses to RFPs and lead negotiations with clients.
  • Innovate and propose engaging event concepts and themes tailored to client needs.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and events as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of successful sales experience, consistently growing business portfolios.
  • Proven track record in achieving annual sales of $500,000 or more.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of thriving under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience in selling full-service production solutions is advantageous.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The role offers a base salary of $80K, plus commission.
