Our client has a direct hire opportunity for a CLEARED Principal DevSecOps Engineer to support a program concerned with security threats to public safety and border protection.  In this role, you will be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security.

This role is onsite in Fort Belvoir, VA, and, per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens with a TS/SCI Clearance.

• Lead planning, design, and implementation of all backlog tasks (e.g., POA&M items, upgrades, features, bug fixes).
• Review all changes to the Volta baseline and ensure successful deployment in all environments.
• Verify security controls and update the Body of Evidence (BOE) with each release.

• Bachelor’s Degree PLUS 5 years of experience as an engineering lead OR, without a degree, at least 10 years of experience as an engineering lead
• 5+ years of experience with the following:
  • Applying agile methodologies to the system development life cycle
  • Infrastructure-as-Code / Configuration-as-Code
  • Commercial Cloud Services
• 3+ years of experience with the following:
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform
  • Amazon Web Services for the DoD/IC (e.g. C2S)
• 2+ years of experience with GitOps and with the Platform One Big Bang service
• 1+ years of experience with the assessment and accreditation of a national security system (NSS)
• Per our client contract, candidates must be US Citizens with a TS/SCI Clearance 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest or experience with DevSecOps 
• Experience with Linux/Windows in cloud environments. 

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range of $85K-$130K, based on experience, qualifications, location, licensure, and certifications.  The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
