Our client has a direct hire opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Northern Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for the general ledger, account reconciliations, and compliance with federal regulations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar field
• At least 3 years of business experience
• CPA or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Financials, including Power Plant
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Access)
• Skilled in data analysis and problem-solving
• Deadline Driven

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range of $50K-$70K, based on experience, qualifications, location, licensure, and certifications.  The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
