Overview

Our client is an award winning federal integrator, assisting various federal agencies in transforming how they deliver their HR Services. They have an opening for a ServiceNow Functional Analyst with experience in the Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) module to support clients throughout the entire project lifecycle. This role involves working directly with clients and project teams to gather requirements, design and configure system solutions, perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and analytical skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to deliver effective, tailored solutions for federal clients.

 

Work is performed remotely on this multi-year project, but candidates must be local to Washington, DC for occasional onsite presence as needed. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens and be able to pass the client’s background check.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize the ServiceNow HRSD platform in alignment with business requirements and best practices.
  • Lead client sessions to gather and document requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Design and implement scalable HRSD solutions, including development of user stories, process flows, and system architecture documentation.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and deployment activities to ensure quality and successful delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, provide end-user support, and recommend improvements based on analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all phases of implementation, including Agile ceremonies and change management activities.
  • Deliver training, maintain project documentation, and foster strong client relationships through clear communication and consistent support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3–5 years of experience working with ServiceNow, particularly in HRSD
  • 3–5 years of experience leading client requirements sessions and relationship management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on HRSD issue resolution
  • Ability to communicate with a range of audiences including technical teams, leadership, and federal end users
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply complex business rules in technical configurations
  • Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens and be able to pass the client’s background check

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting organizational change management and complex technical projects
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow modules such as HRSD, ITSM, and Virtual Agent (including NLU or GenAI features)
  • Experience supporting federal Human Capital Shared Services initiatives
  • Background in federal HR lifecycle process improvement efforts across multiple agencies
  • Familiarity with federal compliance and IT modernization strategies

  • W2 Hourly rate: $70 - $94. Rate is based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications, and is subject to change at any time.
