Overview

The Squires Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to provide front-line support to utility customers in our client’s Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer support, excellent interpersonal skills, and preferably experience working in or with SAP environments. This is an exciting opportunity to support a high-visibility client while working with a dynamic team.

 

This role is onsite in Washington, DC.  Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing prompt and courteous service in person, via phone, and email.
  • Manage and resolve customer issues by researching problems, identifying root causes, and providing effective solutions.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions and maintain up-to-date records in internal systems.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to escalate and resolve service-related issues.
  • Maintain professional communication and uphold client service standards at all times.
  • Support ongoing operational needs including scheduling, front desk coordination, and visitor management.
  • Assist with basic SAP navigation or data input tasks, if applicable, in support of departmental processes.
  • Perform administrative support tasks and contribute to special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service or administrative experience
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a customer-facing role (corporate or public sector preferred).
  • Familiarity with SAP systems or previous experience supporting teams using SAP is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • W2 Hourly rate: $18 - $24. Rate is based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications, and is subject to change at any time.
