We are working with a well-established, privately held company headquartered in the Mid-Atlantic region.  They have been in business for nearly a century and are one of the nation’s largest wholesale distributors.  They are seeking an experienced .NET Software Developer to join their collaborative in-house IT team in Glen Burnie, MD.

This is a direct hire position offering stability, hands-on development work, and the chance to be part of a close-knit, long-standing business that values technology as a core component of its operations.

This role is ONSITE in GLEN BURNIE, MD.  Our client is unable to offer sponsorship.

• Designing and implementing robust, scalable full-stack software solutions using .NET (C#), Java/Java EE, and SQL Server
• Enhancing and maintaining internal applications to support business operations across a national footprint
• Collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and operational stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions
• Troubleshooting application issues and monitoring system performance in a high-volume environment
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment
• Working onsite to support real-time interactions with systems, users, and vendor technologies

• ABILITY AND WILLINGNESS TO WORK ONSITE IN GLEN BURNIE, MD
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience with:
  • .NET, C#, ASP.NET
  • SQL Server
  • Java/Java EE
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles, SDLC, and scalable system architecture
• Experience with front-end tools such as jQuery, SOAP/REST web services, and mobile platform support (iOS/Android) is a plus
• Preferred experience:
  • Apache Tomcat, SOLR, Classic ASP, Data Services
  • Epicor Prophet 21, especially portal or business rules implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for documentation and internal communication
• Sponsorship is not available – Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range of $80K-$110K, based on experience, qualifications, and certifications.  The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
