Our Annapolis, MD based client, has an immediate opening for an IT Project Manager.  In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and completion of projects, ensuring they align with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives. The ideal candidate is flexible and adaptable, with true project management experience and desire.  This is an opportunity to own your work and see projects through their entire lifecycle.

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans.
• Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Identify tasks, resources, and requirements.
• Assemble and lead the project team.
• Allocate and manage project resources effectively.
• Establish and maintain project schedules and timelines.
• Provide guidance and support to team members.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure project standards.
• Regularly report project status to stakeholders.
• Deliver progress reports, address issues, and provide solutions.
• Implement and manage changes to meet project deliverables.
• Evaluate and measure project outcomes against objectives

• 5+ years of experience managing IT-related projects, with a leadership role in at least 3 successful projects delivered on time and within budget.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
• Experience managing projects – Software Development, Custom Packages
• .NET, Angular, SQL Experience/Knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Per our client contract, candidates must be US Citizens

Compensation

Competitive salary / hourly rate: $114K-$128K / $89-$99/hr based on experience and qualifications.
