Overview

The Squires Group is recruiting for a Senior PeopleSoft Developer to support a long-term federal program that plays a critical role in U.S. operations both domestically and abroad. This program supports a globally distributed enterprise logistics and financial platform that directly impacts international operations, supply chain functions, and diplomatic missions.

 

The role is primarily remote, but all candidates must reside in the Northern Virginia area to attend occasional meetings or working sessions in Washington, D.C. and surrounding areas.

 

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of high-quality PeopleSoft solutions, including custom modules, interfaces, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to interpret requirements and implement scalable technical solutions using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, and related technologies.
  • Support complex systems integrations and large-scale enterprise deployments.
  • Write and maintain technical design documentation, interface specs, and test plans.
  • Perform unit testing and provide support through system integration and user acceptance testing phases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft development experience using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and SQR.
  • Strong experience customizing PeopleSoft Financials and developing bolt-on solutions.
  • Proficient in Fluid UI development and customization.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining Component Interfaces, Records, Pages, and Application Packages.
  • Solid experience with SQL, DMS scripts, BI Publisher, and Crystal Reports.
  • Working knowledge of Integration Broker, Web Services, and Application Messaging.
  • Experience with AWE (Approval Workflow Engine) and Portal/Interaction Hub.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and current PeopleSoft environments (v9.2, Tools 8.56+).
  • Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an Active Secret Clearance
