Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Information System (CIS) Integration Lead to provide leadership and guidance to our client for the overall interface/integration approach and implementation of a CIS application. You will provide oversight and coordination of 3rd party interfaces/integrations as well as oversight of the vendor product to product integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all internal and 3rd Party interface/integration activities
  • Review technical specifications for Client interface/integration development, providing feedback as appropriate
  • Assist with unit testing
  • Provide technical support as needed
  • Primary point of contact for 3rd Parties, working closely with Client business owner
  • Responsible for communication of scope for required changes
  • Responsible for validation and coordination of all changes, including:
    • Review of technical specifications, providing feedback as appropriate
    • Review of unit test results
  • Oversee application of interface/integration code and configuration changes to environments
  • Coordinate and confirm test activities
  • Availability of test environments, supporting resources, and timing
  • Coordination of defect resolution
  • Oversee all Vendor product to product integration work
  • Review technical specifications for Vendor interface/integration development, providing feedback as appropriate
  • Provide a weekly status report, with metrics, for all interfaces/integrations to PM, escalating issues as needed
  • Develop interface/integration cutover checklist (internal/external)
  • Oversee and coordinate all interface/integration cutover activities (internal/external)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in system integration/interface management.
  • Proven experience coordinating third-party integrations and internal application interfaces across multiple platforms and vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading interface development lifecycle activities, including technical specification review, unit testing, and deployment coordination.
  • Experience working with or managing third-party vendors, including coordinating scope, validating deliverables, and overseeing testing efforts. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to read and review technical design documents, functional specifications, and mapping documents.
  • Experience with test planning, unit testing, system integration testing
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills; able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with clients in the utilities industry.
