Overview

Our client is an award winning global integrator supporting a major branch of our Armed Forces.  They have an immediate need for a Cleared Land, Leases, and Grants Transactions Subject Matter Expert to work a hybrid schedule in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of land rights, leases, grants, and easements to ensure compliance with applicable laws and best practices, implement process improvements and controls, enhance data accuracy, and provide on-site support and expert guidance to leadership. This position is a 3-month pilot, with the possibility of extension. 

 

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth reviews and analyses of land rights, obligations, and supporting documentation (e.g., deeds, easements, and related records) to ensure alignment with applicable federal laws, regulations, policies, and best practices.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all types of grants and leases, including inbound and outbound agreements.

  • Provide expert insight on easements, property rights, real estate transactions, and compliance considerations.

  • Develop and implement compliance controls and operating procedures to enhance existing land, lease, and grant management processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidance documentation.

  • Review and analyze real property inventories and provide recommendations to improve data accuracy, completeness, and overall portfolio management.

  • Provide on-site support for pilot initiatives, including leading inspections or reviews, developing documentation, and presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Local presence preferred, or ability to travel to the San Antonio area up to 75% of the time. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree and 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience managing land, grant, and lease transactions 

  • Expertise in easements for utilities, infrastructure, and other essential facilities.

  • Proven experience developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and implementing audit or compliance controls.
  • Strong understanding of property management principles, facility operations, and compliance requirements related to negotiated lease terms.
  • Familiarity with environmental considerations and their impact on real estate decisions (preferred).

  • Background in real estate transactions, including appraisals, surveys, and environmental assessments.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver updates, reports, and presentations to senior stakeholders.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation:

  • W2 Hourly rate: $50 - $55. Pay rates are based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications, and are subject to change at any time.
