Our client, a leading Federal agency, is seeking an experienced Workday Integration Lead to support a high-visibility enterprise implementation. This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for designing, developing, and managing integrations between Workday and a range of Federal systems. The ideal candidate has led at least one Federal Workday implementation from start to finish and thrives in secure, complex environments where collaboration, precision, and compliance are key.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Workday integrations (Core Connectors, EIBs, Studio, PECI, and Workday Extend).
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, compliant technical solutions.
  • Manage and guide the integration team throughout all phases of the system development lifecycle.
  • Partner with Workday functional leads, business stakeholders, and Federal IT teams to ensure integrations meet security and performance standards.
  • Develop detailed documentation, testing strategies, and deployment plans in alignment with Federal IT and data governance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring timely and accurate data exchange across systems.
  • Serve as a key liaison with vendors and client leadership on all integration-related matters.

Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret Clearance (required at the time of application).
  • At least one full Federal Workday implementation
  • 7+ years of experience with Workday integrations, including hands-on experience with Workday Studio.
  • Deep understanding of Workday HCM architecture and security.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in an onsite, secure Federal setting.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional and cross-agency teams.
  • Workday Integration or Workday Pro certification preferred.

Compensation

  • The compensation range for this role as a consultant is $100+/hour, based on experience and qualifications. This rate is subject to change.
