Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Benefits Analyst to join their HR team in Springfield, VA. This position is ideal for an early-career professional with a solid foundation in U.S. benefits administration, including invoice processing, reconciliation, and vendor coordination. This is a hybrid position, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Per our Client Contract, candidates must be Green Card Holders or U.S. Citizens.

• Administer employee benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retiree, and voluntary).
• Support open enrollment, new hire onboarding, life event changes, and benefit communications.
• Partner with HRIS, Payroll, and vendors to ensure accurate data, timely processing, and issue resolution.
• Review, reconcile, and process benefit invoices, track costs and coordinate with Finance on reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements; prepare audit documentation as needed.
• Respond to employee benefit inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Maintain and update benefit materials, intranet content, and leave of absence records.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2 – 3 years of experience in benefits administration and invoice reconciliation.
• Working knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA regulations.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

Compensation

• The compensation range for this role as a consultant is $30 - $35/hour, based on experience and qualifications. This rate is subject to change.
