Overview

We are seeking a Workday Financials Analyst (Banking) to support banking, settlement, and payment operations within a large‑scale enterprise Workday environment. This position offers the opportunity to work across the full lifecycle—from stabilization through optimization—while supporting high‑volume, high‑risk payment processes in a controlled financial environment. Work is remote, with limited travel as needed. Responsibilities

  • Learn configuration related to bank accounts, settlement accounts, payment setups, approvals, business processes, and security
  • Review banking runbooks, including processing calendars, cutoffs, rerun procedures, known issues, and integration dependencies
  • Triage and resolve payment and settlement issues, including rejections, processing exceptions, approval delays, filerelated issues (as applicable), and access/security concerns
  • Coordinate with integrations and technical teams on payment file failures and confirm endtoend resolution and audit traceability
  • Support routine payment operations and exception management while maintaining strong operational controls
  • Maintain SOPs, controls documentation, and knowledge base materials to support consistent processing and faster issue resolution
  • Produce and support operational reporting to track payment volumes, failures, and turnaround times
  • Identify and support improvements to payment exception workflows, dashboards, monitoring, approvals, reconciliation support, and overall operational efficiency

Qualifications

2 – 5 years of experience with the following:

  • Experience supporting banking or payment operations in a production financial system environment

  • W2 Hourly rate starts at $70. Pay rates are based on experience and qualifications, and are subject to change at any time.
  • Benefits vary by compensation type and may include paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, and additional optional benefits.
