Overview

The Squires Group has an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst to work on a vital Federal Government project. The goal of the program is to replace digital and paper processes with purely digital workflows.  If you have a Top Secret Clearance, are familiar with Agile development practices, and have experience interpreting business needs and problems then refining them into feasible solutions, click here!

 

This long-term Federal project is located in Washington, DC, and is open to contract, contract-to-hire or direct hire consultants.  This is a fast paced environment, where self-management and teamwork are key.  Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must possess a Top Secret Clearance and be SCI eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects as Business Analyst subject matter expert
  • Manage scope of new project enhancement requests
  • Determine operational objectives of business needs
  • Document business rules and construct workflow diagrams as needed
  • Condense complex business methods into clear and actionable user stories
  • Present concepts and user stories to scrum team
  • Facilitate meetings between users, developers, and Product Owners
  • Serve as resource to testing and user support teams on expected system behavior
  • Collaborate with training team for knowledge transfer

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • 4 years of experience working in an Agile environment
  • 2+ years of Jira experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must hold a Top Secret Clearance and be SCI eligible 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile Certifications (Certified Scrum Master [CSM], Certified Scrum Practitioner [CSP] or Agile Certified Practitioner [PMI])
  • FBI Experience
