Overview

Help make a difference between life and death by modernizing the military's health care system.  Join this long-term Federal contract where they are ensuring those in uniform are medically ready to deploy anywhere around the globe at a moments notice.  This project is located in Vienna, VA and needs an Orion Rhapsody Interface Developer. You will support an Orion Rhapsody team on the development and coding of a global Electronic Health Records (EHR) program.

 

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be able to obtain the required security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide development of applications using software development tools including requirements management, UML modeling, and configuration management tools
  • Develop software improvements through structured development processes
  • Support team members as needed in software design activities
  • Support creation of Interface Control Documents (ICD)
  • Develop assembly test plans and scripts
  • Code, debug, test, and troubleshoot throughout the application development process
  • Support creation of Interface Control Documents
  • Development of interface control documents and functional assembly test cases

Qualifications

  • 5+ years software development experience in a structured environment
  • 4 years of UML based software design and development
  • Strong software development capability in C++ and C language
  • Full Orion Rhapsody implementation life-cycle
  • HL7 v2, HL7 v3, web services
  • Proficient use of programming languages and development tool sets such as C++, SQL, Python, Rhapsody
  • Software component/unit test, integration, and debugging
  • Requirements analysis and traceability
  • Model based systems engineering experience to support hardware in the loop integration desired (examples DODAF, UPDM, SysML)
  • Experience with SysML, UML and associated tools - Rhapsody
  • Experience with any of the following: JavaScript, Perl, Python, XML, RESTful interfaces and other web development languages or applications
  • Experience with Postgres or other DBMS software
  • Knowledgeable in areas of Healthcare interfaces, Military Health, interface control documents, clinical data, CCDA, HL7, interface regression testing and smoke testing
  • Practical hands-on experience with various development tools and strong familiarity with UML and UML development tools
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be able to obtain the required security clearance 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Architecture and interface design experience
  • IHE profiles/XCA/XDS
