Our client is one of the leading utility companies in the Washington, DC Metro area.  They are taking on three major process and business improvement projects, and are in need of a PM/Coordinator/Analyst for each one.  Get your foot in the door from the outset!  These will be the most significant efforts the company will undertake in the next few years, and your energies will be appreciated by more than 1 million customers!


These long-term contract roles are located in Springfield, VA.  Don’t let this excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging organization pass you by!  Sponsorship is not available at this time.


  • Plan, manage, and deploy projects within the scope of the PMO
  • Monitor project performance, schedules, and deliverables
  • Assist with planning and executing organizational change management and communications plans
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated change control and communication documentation
  • Provide status updates as required
  • Use Microsoft Project to plan and schedule timelines and milestones
  • Manage changes in project scope, and build contingency plans
  • Manage and account for budgets, requirements, contract reviews, and compliance
  • Other duties as assigned and needed


  • 7+ years of business experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Proven experience managing multiple work streams
  • 3+ years of Business IT Application experience
  • 2+ years of Technical Development process experience, including Waterfall
  • PMP, CMMI or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office expertise
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP and/or PeopleSoft ERP experience
  • General understanding of GAAP O&M and Capital accounting practices and standards
  • Experience with Jira software
  • Utility experience
