Overview

Our client is one of the nation’s top tier consulting firms.  With a focus on innovation, they are featured in the top 10 list of the most admired companies in the world by the Fortune magazine.  They are searching for an Enterprise Architect for a long term contract in Washington, D.C.  The Enterprise Architect will work with the Project Management Office (PMO) team to establish and maintain an Enterprise Architecture program that complies with the guidelines of this unique Federal agency.

 

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders, and be able to pass the client’s background investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction, guidance, and definition of an enterprise's architecture to support the business strategy
  • Support the creation and evolution of the enterprise application architecture function/program
  • Maintain the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that direct the design of technology solutions
  • Analyze technology industry and market trends and determine potential impacts upon the enterprise
  • Support the development and execution of a communication plan for enterprise application architecture standards
  • Participate in strategic decisions regarding the technical aspects of IT for the enterprise
  • Consult the IT and business leaders in the development of IT solutions

Qualifications

  • 5 – 7 years of experience with application architecture, including fluency in all technical domains
  • Knowledge in most technical disciplines (application, business, security, etc.) and operations disciplines (systems management, change management, etc.)
  • Expertise in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and/or Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) 2.0 along with IT business architecture areas including business process design and governance
  • Program implementation skills, including project portfolio management, and planning and reporting others’ work across multiple implementations simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders, and be able to pass the client’s background investigation 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of ARIS for Application Architecture
  • PMP or CAPM certification
  • TOGAF certification
